This place is just jaw-dropping! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the friendliest hosts who made us feel right at home. The comfy and fully equipped space had everything we needed, including a washing machine and a useful local area guide. The hosts even went above and beyond, offering to post back some clothes we left behind, free of charge. The location is superb, close to the beach, and the quirky and colorful interior of The Barn creates a cozy and safe atmosphere, ideal for a solo traveler like myself. There's even a lovely garden that's a sun trap! The pull-down bed was a breeze to use, and the hosts respected our privacy while being readily available for any help. And let's not forget the mind-blowing hot tub - an absolute treat! This place has it all and we will definitely be returning. Thank you, Colin and Rosie, for an amazing stay!

The hosts were friendly and made me feel at home right away. They even accommodated my early check-in request. The place itself was quirky, colorful, and cozy, providing a peaceful and safe atmosphere for a solo traveler like me. The garden was a pleasant surprise, a little sun trap where I could relax. The location was also great, being close to the beach. The pull-down bed was easy to use and put away, making the space convenient. The hosts were lovely, respecting my privacy but also available if needed. It was the ideal place to escape the world for a couple of days.
The only negative aspect was the bed. It wasn't very comfortable for me, especially considering I have a bad back.

I recently stayed at a beautiful little place that was just perfect for a getaway for two people. The highlight of my stay was definitely the amazing hot tub, which provided the ultimate relaxation experience. The place had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine that was a lifesaver after a long week of traveling. The beach was just a stone's throw away, which was fantastic for enjoying some sun and surf. The lovely hosts, Colin and Rosemarie, were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. They even went above and beyond by offering to post back some clothes I accidentally left behind, free of charge. The only small drawback I would mention is that the bed was a bit uncomfortable for my bad back, but I can easily solve that by bringing extra pillows or cushions on my next visit. I had a wonderful time at this charming place and I would definitely book again. Highly recommended!

I absolutely adored the charming and colorful decor at The Barn. It brought me so much joy to be surrounded by such a unique and quirky atmosphere. The hotel's general areas were impeccably maintained, creating a cozy and inviting ambiance. As a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was for me. The friendly hosts ensured that I felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay, and the layout of the hotel made it easy for me to navigate without any trouble. It truly felt like a home away from home.
If I had to ask for one improvement for a better vacation experience for senior people, it would be for the children working there to provide additional support for those with mobility issues. A little extra assistance with carrying luggage or navigating any potential obstacles would go a long way in ensuring that all guests, especially seniors, have a truly delightful and hassle-free vacation.

Who knew I could be such a sporty lady? I golfed, canoed, and cycled my heart out in the area. The proximity to Southampton Airport was convenient for my grand entrance.
Oh, I just adored everything so much that I can't even come up with a sarcastic complaint. How disappointing.
